Obituary of Gerry Pomerleau
It is with great sorrow we announce the peaceful passing of Gerald “Gerry” Pomerleau on Friday, March 14th 2025 at the age of 89 surrounded by family. Survived by his devoted wife, Charlotte Pomerleau and his children, Brigitte, Daniel (Rainy), Paul and step-daughter, Debby (Dave); sister Jean Bough from Cornwall and will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his son, Gerry and step-daughter Linda.
Gerry was a respected Veteran with the Canadian Air Force who enjoyed watching hockey, fishing and playing his luck with lottery tickets. In his pastime, Gerry could often be found beating Dan at chess.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. Cremation has taken place and Gerry’s family welcomes guests for a time of visitation on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 in the funeral home between 1:00 – 3:00pm. No formal service will be held, and in lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Hospice Niagara in memory of Gerry.
