Obituary of Peter Joseph Sawicki
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Peter “Pete” Sawicki, who passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 11, 2025, at the age of 63. Though his time here has come to an end, his love, kindness, and unwavering spirit will remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
Pete was a devoted father and found his greatest joy in his children, Katie (Alex) and Mitchell (Josie). He took great pride in their accomplishments and cherished the time spent together. He is survived by his brother John (Dawn) and sister Christine (Dale), who will forever hold dear the memories of their shared childhood and lifelong bond. He is also remembered by his former wife, Karen, the mother of his children, with whom he built a family that will carry on his legacy of love and strength. Beloved uncle to his nephews, Greg, Kevin, Jonathan and Michael and grandfather to Campbell. Predeceased by parents, Mike and Pearl Sawicki and brother Richard.
Pete’s faith guided him throughout his life, and we take comfort in knowing that he has found peace in the presence of the Lord. His journey here may have ended, but his soul now rests in eternal light, free from pain and worry.
