Obituary of Eleanor Caroline Cukierski
Eleanor Cukierski passed away peacefully at St. Catharines General on March 7th 2025 at the age of 84. Dear sister to Edward (Betty) and Felix “Joe” (Gloria). Cherished aunt to Gordon, Joanne, Heather, Kristen and Jason. Dear cousin to Helene and Marie and long time friend to Shirley and Elsie.
Pre deceased by her parents John and Mary Cukierski, Eleanor was born and raised in St. Catharines. Eleanor dedicated her entire career to Foster Wheeler, working as a stenographer for over 45 years.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the wonderful staff at Mount Carmel and the St. Catharines General Hospital for their dedicated care.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the George Darte Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held at Mount Carmel Chapel, 78 Yates Street, St. Catharines, on Wednesday March 12th at 11am. Following the mass, burial will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
Donations in Eleanor’s memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Alzheimers Society of Canada.
