Obituary of Harry John Sheppard
On Tuesday, March 4 2025, Harry John Sheppard passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at the age of 89. Survived by his loving wife, Anne Sheppard (nee Duffy); children Jamie (Terri), Greg (Ada), John (Andrea), Joanne (Joe) and Graham (Shawna); 14 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Harry was born in St. Catharines to parents Harry and Isabel in 1935. Harry was in business with his father and predeceased brothers, Ed and George, for many years until his retirement. After retirement, Harry And Anne built their dream cottage in The Thousand Islands where they spent many wonderful years enjoying well loved time with family and friends.
In keeping with his wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. Cremation has taken place and a private burial will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider making memorial donations in honour of Harry to the Canadian National Institute of the Blind.
