Obituary of Stephen Edward Bednarz
IN LOVING MEMORY OF STEPHEN BEDNARZ
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Stephen Bednarz, age 58 on February 27th, 2025. Born on April 12th, 1966, Steve was a beloved father, son, brother, uncle and friend, whose presence in the lives of those who knew him will be deeply missed.
Steve was an amazing individual who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Whether it was playing video games, golfing, cruising down the open road on his motorcycle, or spending quality time with his family, Steve lived life to the fullest.
He found joy in the laughter and company of his daughters, Kayla and Selena, with whom he shared a special bond as a single dad. Steve was extremely proud of both of his girls and cherished every moment he spent with them. As a loving pet parent to his little dog Bella, his absence in her life will be missed.
Steve was a cherished brother to his siblings, Theresa MacKay (Mathew), Christine Humeniuk (Philip), Raymond Bednarz, Jason Bednarz, Lee Anne Bednarz and predeceased by his sister
Lisa Bednarz (Dave). Loving Uncle to Mark, Kevin, Alex, Ally, Emily, Samantha and Dylan.
He will not only be missed by his family but by all the many friends he made throughout his life who had the privilege of knowing him.
He was a long-standing employee of White Oak Transport Limited. His dedication to his job showed that he was a dependable and hardworking member of the team. “Stevie B” will be greatly missed.
Steve’s legacy of love and joy will continue to live on through his daughters, his siblings, and all those who had the honor of being part of his life. While his time with us was far too short, his memory will remain in our hearts forever.
A celebration of Steve’s life will be held at Darte Funeral Home, Thursday, March 6th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and The Humane Society.
Steve, you will be deeply missed, but your spirit will never be forgotten. Rest in peace.
