To Jo-Anne Lawler:
Jo-Anne, I was in St. Catharines this past weekend and read that you have lost your dad. I know how sad you must be feeling, particularly with your mom gone as well. It is a very strange and lonely feeling once both parents are gone. I lost my mom 10 years ago September and my dad 3 years ago October and my sisters and I still discuss them constantly, remembering everything.
Other than your loss, I hope this email finds you and Bob and your family well. John and I moved to Victoria, B.C. 9 years ago and have become converted west coast natives. I would love to hear from you and catch up. My email (as you will probably see when you get this) is ksummers@craigdarrochcastle.com (I manage a large Castle/Historic House Museum in Victoria - like Casa Loma). I plan to be back in St. Catharines in April/04 as I have a museum conference in Quebec and will be passing back through. It would be fun to dredge up a few of the old gang and have dinner.
