Obituary of Margaret Bernard

Bernard, Margaret ‘Marg’ Louise (1928 – 2018)

    On Saturday January 20th in her 90th year, Marg passed away peacefully at home in the arms of her loving family. Survived by her daughters Carol (Phil) Ellis, Brenda (Cliff) Tattersall, Sandie (Pete) Wilhelm, Marcia (Bob) Connacher, Gwen Potter (Gerard Rouse), Amy (Jack) Uramowski. Grandchildren: Trudy (Murray), Glenn, Tammy (Steve), David (Janet), Jennifer (Christian), Aaron (Tabetha), Ian, Joe, Jake, Jared and Andrew. Great grandchildren: Chelsie, Baylea, Xavier, Padraic, Avery, Owen, Corban, Sophie, Emilie, Katherine. Predeceased by her husband Wilfred (2004); parents (Harley and Violet Bigger); brothers Bill, Glen and Bob Bigger; granddaughters Tricia Tremblay (1986), Megan Potter (1988).  

Special thanks to visiting nurses, Susan and Liliya, and the Hospice Outreach Team. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice Niagara or a charity of your choice.

Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585  Carlton St., St. Catharines on Tues. January 23 from 3-7 p.m. with a Celebration of Marg’s life to be held on Wed. January 24 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. A private immediate family interment will follow.
