Obituary of Jacqueline Hill

Jacqueline Lois Hill (nee Findlay): 1932-2017

      Passed away peacefully at Lookout Ridge on November 14th, 2017, in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Douglas Hill for 42 years. Cherished mother of Douglas Hill (Monica), Scott Hill (Joanne), Christopher Hill (Christine), and Cameron Hill (Michelle). Proud grandmother of Hailey, Mikaela, Tyler, Nathan, John, and Megan, as well as Michael, Robbie, and Julia and great grandmother to Lucas. Pre-deceased by her brothers, Rodney Findlay and Keith Findlay, as well as her sister Nancy and her parents John and Keitha Findlay from Smiths Falls, Ontario.  

"Jackie" was a retired charge nurse at the St. Catharines General hospital and served her community as a crossing guard for many years. Jackie will be missed by her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephew and her nursing friends and neighbours. Many thanks to the staff and nurses at Lookout Ridge that took such great care of Jackie during her time there. 

Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Monday, November 20 from 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Jacqueline's life will take place on Tuesday, November 21 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home ceremony room. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
