Obituary of Dorothy Hudson

HUDSON, Dorothy - Passed away with her loving family by her side at the St. Catharines Hospital on Sunday, October 29th, 2017 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late George Hudson Sr. (1981). Cherished mother of George (Lynda) Hudson, Tom (Diane Alexander) Hudson and Ed (Norine) Hudson.  Loving Grandmother of Dodi, Heath, George Jr., Jayson, Amber, Candra, Brennan, Carrie, Ed Jr., Leigh-Ann and Trisha. She will be sadly missed by her 16 great grandchildren.  Sister of Vera, Luba and John.  Dorothy was employed at Empie Manufacturing for 35 years. She started her own business, "Stitch Factory" for 11 years. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Sunday, November 5th from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. A Celebration of Dorothy's Life will take place on Monday, November 6th at 11a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens on Highway 20 in Fonthill to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation or The Canadian Diabetes Association  would be appreciated by the family.
