We are sad to announce the passing of Larry Defoy on October 15, 2017 at the age of 80. Loving and supportive father to Mark and Steve (Gillian LaScala) and their mother Aline Defoy. Cherished grandfather to Marc, Jack and Maci, Matthew, Jordan, Dillan and McKenna. He will be missed by his partner Monique Thomassin.

Larry was an avid fisherman, spending a great deal of time on the rivers and lakes of Ontario and Quebec. He retired from the Town of Niagara on the Lake where he worked in Parks and Recreation.

Friends and family are welcomed to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St. on Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 10am-12pm. A Funeral Liturgy Outside of Mass will be held at 12pm following the public gathering. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
