Obituary of Ellen Anne Reid

                                               Ellen Anne Reid (nee Logue): November 20th, 1939- October 13th, 2017

 Ellen passed away on Friday, October 13th, 2017 in the presence of her loving family. She is survived by her husband, Bernard Reid and children John and Jennifer Reid. She was a loving grandmother to Lauren and Malcolm Reid. Ellen was one of ten children born in Port Glasgow, Scotland, to parents Hugh and Bridget Logue. Ellen has a large extended family throughout Canada, Scotland and England. Ellen was a kind and loving soul with a laugh that could light up a room. She was a genuine caring person, vibrant and full of character.  She will be deeply missed by her many friends and family members.   Cremation has already occurred. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, at 585 Carlton St in St. Catharines,  on Wednesday, October 18th from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm with vigil prayers at 2:30 pm.  A memorial mass will occur at St. Denis Parish at 230 Lake St, St. Catharines on Thursday, October 19th  at 11:00 am.  In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice Niagara.
