ASPLIN, Jon

With deep sadness we announce the passing of Jonathan Asplin, who passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 while surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Catherine. Devoted father of Elizabeth (Kevin) Thomson, Victoria (Ryan) McAuley and Philip (Krystal) Asplin. Loving Grandpa of Matthew, Abby, Kieran, Madison, Seth and Samuel. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A special thank you to the Nurses on 2 south at the Port Colborne Hospital for all their wonderful care and compassion. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., at 11:30am. If desired, memorial donations to Teen Challenge Canada would be appreciated by the family.
