1945-2017

Thomas Junek and Philip Junek are sad to announce the loss of their beloved mother Paula who passed peacefully in the morning of September 11, 2017 at Henley House after a brief yet valiant fight against cancer. A proud Canadian, Paula will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all her friends in the Canadian Czech Community who benefited throughout the years of her generosity, laughter and spirit.  A life long animal lover, Paula has now joined her beloved Wolfgang, Roxy, Alex, Junior, Rocky and Lola. The family would like to offer a heartfelt thank you to the nursing and personal support staff at Henley House for making her last days as comfortable as possible. Visitation will take place on Friday, September 22, 2017 from 10am - 12pm at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St. As per Paula's wishes, a funeral will not be held and a private Burial will take place. In lieu of flowers, Paula would wish donations in her honor be sent to either the Lincoln County Humane Society or the Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind.
