Obituary of Zofia Styczynski

STYCZYNSKI, Zofia – Unexpectedly and peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on August 22, 2017 at the age of 90. Predeceased by her loving husband Mietek for over 35 years. Beloved Mom to Stella (Danny) Rakic, and Dave (Bozena). Adored Babcia to Michael, Alexandra (Luther), Victoria (Jamie), and Samantha. Great grandmother to Olivia and Claire. Survived by her brother Stanley (Kazia) Urysz and many loving family members and close friends. Predeceased by her 5 siblings. Zofia enjoyed her regular visits to the YMCA and had many friends. She loved to cook and prepare traditional Polish meals for her family to enjoy.

Public gathering will be held at GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St. on Friday from 2-4pm and 6:30-9pm with Vigil prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 5 Oblate St. on Saturday at 10am with burial to follow at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society in Zofia’s honor.
