Obituary of Maria Anna Snazyk

SNAZYK, Maria Anna It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Mother Maria surrounded by her family on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the age of 87. Beloved Wife of the late Wladyslaw. Cherished Mama to Donna (Oliviero) Daniel, Sid, Richard (Helen) and Andy (Iwona). Babci to Greg (Lauren), Jennifer, Ricky and Andrew (Tiffany). She will be dearly missed by her relatives Krzysztof, Henryka, and Magdalena Skrzypczyk in Poland and other extended family members. She was a hard working woman who loved her family, friends and church. A special thank you to the Staff at the ICU Unit at the St. Catharines General Hospital and the Ladies at the March of Dimes for all their care and compassion, especially her two dear friends Zofia Siudowski and Zofia Kujawka and the ladies from the Society of the Holy Rosary. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Rosary will be held at 3 p.m. and Vigil Prayers at 6 p.m. on Tuesday. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 5 Oblate St. on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 11 a.m. Entombment will take place following Mass at Victoria Lawn Cemetery, Queenston St.. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations towards the Renovations Fund for Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.
