Obituary of David Roy Sparling

Sparling, David Passed away peacefully at St. Catharines General Hospital on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the age of 86. Loving father to Brian (Linda) of Surrey, B.C., Allan (Faye) of Welland, Stephen (Sophia) of Brampton and Kathy (Zabey) Racher of Yellowknife, NWT. Beloved grandfather to Patrick, Lisa (Matt), Jennifer (dan), Kerri (Steve), Morgan, Zoe, Bradley (Jessica) and Jessica as well as 10 great-grandchildren. Also survived by his sister Carol Dixon of Calgary, AB. Predeceased by his siblings Philip and Margaret Kinnard. Our heartfelt thanks go to all the doctors and nurses at St. Catharines General Hospital for their kind and caring attention to our Dad. It is greatly appreciated. Also, thanks to all the sisters, staff and residents at Mount Carmel Home. You made Dad’s stay there a very happy one. Family and friends will be welcomed at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 2-4pm. A Memorial Service will follow at 4pm in the funeral home chapel. Memorial donations made to Mount Carmel Home or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
