Lawrence Gadula

Obituary of Lawrence Edward Gadula

GADULA, Lawrence - It is with sad and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our brother, Lawrence. A sweet and simple soul who lovingly leaves behind his one and only cherished daughter Aimee, whom he loved dearly. Also mourning his passing are his 4 brothers George (JoAnne), Michael, Wayne (Marlene) and Brian (Sharon). He will also be remembered as a fun loving character, a kind and loving uncle to his nieces and nephews, Michelle Gadula, Jordan (Kelly), Alexandria Anger (Evan), Jelayna, Emily, Neill and Joey. As well as 5 great nephews Cameron, Lincoln, Coen, Davyn and baby Phoenyx. Our brother was a faithful and loving friend to Austin Croft. Lawrence was an employee of Sterling Varnish and thus had a talent with a paintbrush. He was an active member of the Canadian Polish Society in St. Catharines and he contributed to the community with a spirit of volunteerism through many bingo organizations as well as his kind and caring work with the Native Community. We would like to thank his team of Angels over the last 20 years while Lawrence battled many health issues, and most recently all those at Shaver Hospital, you are all valued, needed and most greatly appreciated! Lawrence, you have lived the last of your 9 lives and now may you be welcomed and reunited with your mother, Winnie, your father Joe, sister Teresa and niece, baby Mary as you enter in the joyful presence and arms of your Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Now you can have all the sugar you want :) We are eternally grateful to all of those who loved, cared and welcomed Lawrence into their lives and homes, giving him a sense of purpose and belonging. The family will receive visitors and friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street on Tuesday, March 21st from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will take place on Wednesday, March 22nd at 11a.m. in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Diabetes Association or the War Amps. WE LOVE YOU LAWRENCE XOXOXO
