Obituary of Michael Siconolfi

Siconolfi, Michael - With his loving family by his side, on Thursday February 16, 2017 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 52. Devoted husband to Julia Tota for 22 and a half years. Loving dad of Corina, Francesca and Michela. Beloved son of Francesco and Giuseppina (nee Damiano). Beloved brother to Joseph (Natasha) and special zio to Sophia and Vienna. Cherished son-in-law to Maria and Carmine Tota; brother-in-law to Angela (Michael) Geremia and his nephews Christopher Geremia, David Geremia and many loving family members. Michael "Digger" worked for over 25 years at Koch-Glitsch Canada as a chemical engineer. He was a man who loved his family dearly, took wonderful pride in building his home, was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan, enjoyed golfing and spending time with his friends. Michael was a hard working man who was very respectful and kind to others and will be sadly missed. Family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street on Monday between 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be held at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine Street on Tuesday at 11 am. Vigil prayers will be said in the funeral home on Monday at 3:30 p.m. Entombment will follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Rankin Cancer Run or Wellspring Niagara in Michael's honour.
