Obituary of Geraldine Mary Humphries

HUMPHRIES, Geraldine (nee O'Shea) November 6, 1935-October 19, 2016 Geri passed away peacefully in the loving arms of her daughter Jackie at the St. Catharines General Hospital. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel. Beloved mother of James, Lori (David), Lisa (Jeff), Jackie (Dennis) and David. Cherished Mema of R.J., Nikko, Sheala, Sheana, Tozsha, Shea and Bo, and Great Mema of Shayla. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents Burt and Mary O'Shea, sister Mona and brother Ronny. She is survived by her sisters and brothers Joan, Danny, Maureen (Ang), Wanda, Greta, Nick, Liz (Skip) and Cheryl (Reiner). Special thanks to Jim and Joyce Humphries for their constant guidance and strength, and sincere thanks to Phil for all the love you gave. The family extends heartfelt thanks to Dr. Lagrotteria and the amazing staff of the dialysis unit for the tender care they provided for many years. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place with arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 29th at the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria, 3 Lyman Street at 10am. There will be a private family inurnment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please honour her memory with an act of kindness.
