Obituary of Patrick Leo Feor

FEOR, Patrick Leo It is with great sadness, our family announces the peaceful passing of our father Patrick on Wednesday, October 19th at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the remarkable age of 99. Predeceased by his first wife and mother of his children Mary Thomas (nee Gwynne), second wife Donna Sheppard, grandson Patrick and his 3 brothers and 1 sister. He will be greatly missed and leaves behind his daughter Sandra (David Murray) Channell, sons Perry (Charlee) and Dennis (Patricia), and his 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. We know Patrick will also be missed by his 2 brothers, 2 sisters, his extended family members and good friends. The family extends sincere thanks to the staff at Tufford Manor and the 3rd floor Oncology/Palliative Care Unit of the St. Catharines Hospital for their ongoing care of Patrick. Patrick was a World War II Veteran, and lived in the Niagara Region for most of his life. He was an avid gardener and a longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #24 and the St. David's Lions Club. Mr. Feor's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Sunday, October 23rd from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 316 Queenston Street on Monday, October 24th at 11am. Rite of Committal following in St. David's-Queenston United Church Cemetery. Vigil Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Sunday at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Covenant House or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
