Obituary of Annita Vendittelli

VENDITTELLI, Annita Surrounded by love and with her family, Annita passed away peacefully on August 22, 2016 at Henley House, at the age of 96. Annita has been reunited with her beloved husband, Arturo. Loving mother of Battista (Maria) Vendittelli and Carmel (Ron) Grossi. Cherished Nonna of Ron Jr. (Corey) Grossi, Mark (Allison) Vendittelli, Rob Grossi and David (Marilyn) Vendittelli. Proud great-grandmother of Chase, Zachary and Reese Grossi and Nevaeh, Melina, Sophia and Amelia Vendittelli. Dear sister of Evelina, Maria, Romilda and Irene. Annita will also be missed by her nieces and nephews. A special thank you to all the staff at Henley House for their compassionate care. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines, on Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be held in the funeral home at 3 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Star of the Sea Church, 34 Elgin Street, St. Catharines, on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 10 a.m. Rite of Committal to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
