Obituary of Rosa Evangelista

EVANGELISTA, Rosa Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Wednesday, July 27th at the Brampton Civic Hospital at the age of 92. Predeceased by her husband Giuseppe. She was the devoted mother of John (Wendy) and Maria (Antonio) Morizio and cherished Nonna of Christina, Laura (Franco) and Lisa (Michael). Much loved Nonna Rosa of Daniel, Andrew, Alyssa and Lauren. She will be greatly missed by her many relatives and friends. Rosa was a valued member of St. Alfred's Parish and devoted her life to family, friends, reading and prayer. Mrs. Evangelista's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Friday, July 29th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, July 30th at St. Alfred's Catholic Church, 272 Vine Street at 9:30am. Entombment following in Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Fonthill. Vigil Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Friday at 3pm. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Ontario.
