Obituary of Linda Jean Turner

TURNER, Linda Jean (nee Moote) Passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side on Friday, June 24, 2016 at the age of 71 at Queens Garden LTC. Loving mother of Lisa (Paul) Gillis, Stacey (Joe) Gillis, Jennifer "Lillian" McGowan and Joe (Elise) Turner. Proud grandma to Eddie, Alysha, Michael, Anna, Joey "Lil guy," Alexis, Leah and another grandson on the way. Sister of Roger (Debbie) Moote. Predeceased by her parents Garnet and Jean Moote. The family wishes to express their gratitude to nurses Ruth Lynn and Ravinder, and all of the wonderful PSWs for their care and compassion. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Wednesday, June 29 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral service for Linda will be held on Thursday, June 30 at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in mom's memory may be made to Adult Community Support Program - Hamilton (Adults with Disabilities). Linda will be remembered for her unconditional love for her family.
