VOLO, Angela Passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Filippo. Loving mother of Sara (Carmelo) Scaglione, Josie (Giuseppe) Troccoli, and John Carl Volo. Devoted Nonna of Lucia (Gordon) Cukierski, Joseph (Michelle) Scaglione, and Carlo (Pierina) Troccoli & Paul (Julia) Troccoli. Proud Nonnina of Alexander, Mikayla, Daniel, Matteo, Lucas, Samantha, Luke and another great-grandchild in waiting. Dear sister of Giuseppina Alessi. The family wishes to extend a sincere thank-you to CCAC, Personal Support Workers, Palliative Care Nurses from St. Elizabeth and Dr. Janine Hutchinson for all their care and compassion. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Thursday, May 26 from 4-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Thursday at 6 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine St., St. Catharines on Friday, May 27 at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Niagara, Make a Wish Foundation, St. Vincent de Paul (St. Alfred's) or a charity of your choice.
