Obituary of Norman Drewery Dyball

DYBALL, Norman - Passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 28, 2015. Beloved husband of Pauline for 67 years. Cherished father of Dennis (Norma) Dyball, Cheryl (Keith) Matheson and Wendy (Leo) Murray. Loving Grandpa of Christy and Darryl Dyball, Tyler and Spencer Matheson and Kyle, Myles and Trevor Murray. Special brother of Bill (the late Florence) Dyball, June (the late Nick) Marucci, Joyce (the late Les) Toth, Wilfred (Marion) Dyball, Gordon (Marjorie) Dyball and Melvyn (Bonnie) Dyball. Dear brother-in-law of Les (Judi) Herbert and Norm (Cathy) Herbert. Norman is predeceased by his brothers Ernie, Bert (the late Mae), Lloyd (Lydia), Herb (the late Mona); sisters Gladys (the late Jack) Smiley, Irene (the late Herb) Marshall, Kate (2014) (the late William) Tench; step-mom Lucy and brother-in-law Vernon (the late Betty) Pepin. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbours. Norm was born in Grimsby, Ontario on March 27, 1925 to Ernest & Salina Dyball and will be remembered as a man who lived his life well - full of love, laughter and kindness. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Norm's Life will take place on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 11a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow. Memorial donations to Walker Family Cancer Center, Hotel Dieu Shaver or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
