Obituary of Pedro Sumodobila

SUMODOBILA, Pedro- Passed away with his loving family by his side on Wednesday, February 25th, 2015 at the St. Catharines Hospital at the age of 69.Beloved husband of Norma for 42 years. Cherished father of Emmalyn (Mark), Melvin (Analou) and Lilibeth (Eddie). Loving grandpa of Raiven, Jayden and Violet. He will be sadly missed by his sister Natty (Joe) Bruce, as well as his nieces, nephews, cousins and all his family in the United States and the Philippines. Pedro was employed at the St. Catharines General Hospital for over 32 years. He was a faithful and frequent patron of the Pen Center and the Fairview Mall, where he could often be found drinking coffee and scratching lotto tickets. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Monday from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. Vigil prayers will take place on Monday at 3p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 316 Queenston Street on Tuesday at 11a.m.Rite of committal at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow. Memorial donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
