Obituary of Alice Delano

DELANO, Alice Peacefully, surrounded by her family, Alice went home to be with her beloved husband, Bill, on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Ina Grafton Gage Village in her 89th year. Loving mother of Dennis (Debbie), Karen (Bruce) Thomson , Donna (Tim) Fast and Kathy (Joe) Weaver. Cherished grandmother of Rick (Julie), David, Shannon (John), Kevin (Amy), Michael (Melanie), Blair, (Katharine), Jonathan, William and Abbey. Proud great-grandmother of Benson. Dear sister of Eileen Whyman, of England. Alice will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews and extended family. A special thank you to the staff at Ina Grafton for their kindness and compassion shown in mom's care over the years. Alice's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 10-11:30 a.m. with a Funeral Liturgy outside of Mass being celebrated in the funeral home chapel at 11:30 a.m. Rite of Committal will follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations may be given to the charity of choice. "Rest in peace dear Mom."
