Obituary of Gino Mario Farinacci

FARINACCI, Gino Mario It is with profound sadness that we say goodbye to Gino Farinacci, who unexpectedly passed away at his home on August 28, 2014 at the age of 65. Gino is lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his two daughters Amber (Scott) Ellis and Taylor (Rod) Recine, his mother Consiglia Farinacci, brother Seby (Carol-Ann) Farinacci and sister Mary (Stan) McConnery. Gino was a loving Grandpa to his pride and joy Payton Ellis, Milana and Vienna Recine. He will also be sadly missed by nieces and nephews, Kathy (Chris) Crawford, Brad Farinacci, Travis and Kelli McConnery. Gino will be fondly remembered by Amber and Taylor's mother Donna Farinacci and Megan, Jordyn, Jacob and Blake Crawford. Predeceased by his father Giovanni (2002). Gino was a very talented athlete who excelled in baseball, hockey and golf. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Thursday, September 4th from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, September 5th from 9:30-11:30 a.m. A Celebration of Gino's life will follow on Friday at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
