Obituary of Anne Horvath

HORVATH, Anne Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, August 12th, 2014 in her 74th year. Beloved mom of Bruce, Gail and Vicky (Victor). Very proud grandma of Eric, Joey, Saryn, Christine and Samantha. Cherished sister of Fern (Clayton) and Charles. Anne will also be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents Albert and Myrtle and her siblings Eugene, Albert, Wilson, Alan, Hughie, Evelyn and Emily. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the caregivers at the Greater Niagara General Hospital-ICU for their kindness and compassion. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Sunday, August 17th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Denis Church, 230 Lake St., St. Catharines on Monday, August 18th at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
