Obituary of Bill Fitzpatrick

FITZPATRICK, Bill Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Monday, April 14th, 2014 at the age of 67. Beloved husband of the late Rosina (2001). Much loved father of Yvonne (Youness) Nasri and David. Cherished grandpa of Nadia and Kenza. Loving brother of the late James and Mary (Bill). Bill will also be fondly remembered by his brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews in Scotland, England and Canada. Bill was born in Glasgow, Scotland and moved to Canada in 1987. He was a faithful supporter of Partick Thistle Soccer Club and enjoyed spending his time at the Celtic Club. Bill was immensely proud of his two grandkids, who he loved spending time with. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Walker Family Cancer Center and the ER and palliative care staff at NHS-St. Catharines Site. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Wednesday, April 16th from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Bill’s life will take place in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, April 17th at 9:30 a.m., with interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Walker Family Cancer Center would be appreciated by the family.
