Obituary of Maria Kochanek

Kochanek, Maria Peacefully on Friday, September 7, 2001 at the Shaver Hospital. 92 years of age. Loving mother of Jannina & the late Jan Laczka, and Richard Kochanek & his wife Izabela all of Poland. Proud Babcia of Alina, Pawel, Marek, the late Piotros, Andrzej, Julia, and of her 6 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Juliana Bobowiec, Anna Bernat, and the late Joseph Socha & his wife Wanda. Maria will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews in Canada, U.S.A., and Poland. Predeceased by her husbands Walter Kochanek. and George Diaduk. Mrs. Kochanek was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Mrs. Kochanek is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St., until Monday at 9:30am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church at 10am. Rite of Committal will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours Sunday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home on Sunday at 7:30pm. Memorial remembrances to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
